Job Description
1.Provide day to day and project support for Oracle 11i Applications.
2.Patch analysis, patch application and deployment.
3.Instance cloning and post cloning activities.
4.Oracle 11i database tuning.
5.Communicate to stakeholders via standard methods (e.g. orally, email, ticket system).
6.Resolve incidents and problems, creating TARs as needed and working with Oracle and the customer to quickly resolve the problem. Communication of same to stakeholders.
7.Facilitate the promotion of application code, setups, databases and related components from the various levels of development through staging and production.
9.Development of technical procedures, scripts and associated documentation to improve existing processes and implement new ones.
10.Assist in disaster recovery preparation, planning and testing.

Desired Profile
Minimum of 5 + years rel exp in Oracle 11i Application DBA experience on the Sun Solaris.
Oracle Patch Management, Oracle Database Administration including backup/recovery and performance tuning, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Data Integration, and Oracle Applications.

Strong knowledge of and experience with Oracle Applications and Databases, Apache, Oracle Application Server, and 3rd party tools (Kintana, Toad, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with Oracle 9i and 10g databases
5 + plus years of Unix experience including scripting
Experience in a complex, large volume operation.
Customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
