Description
• Provide Installation, administration and maintenance support primarily for SQL Database systems and related products in a fast paced production environment.
• Ideal candidate should also possess strong SQL data replication server skills with production support experience in a global environment.
• Responsibilities include ongoing system administration, configuring, managing, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• 3 yrs. of experience of upgrading SQL 2000 to SQL 2005
• 3 Yrs. experience with SQL Server and T-SQL in constructing triggers, tables, user functions, views, indexes, user profiles, relational database models, data dictionaries, data integrity, SSIS packages and DTS
• 3 Yrs. experience with monitoring, tuning and analyzing db performance and allocating server resources to achieve optimum db performance
• Experience and knowledge of high availability SQL Server solutions, including Log shipping, Replication and SQL Server clustering
• Database scheme changes, data cleansing tasks, refreshing databases from one environment to another.
• Resource will ensure 24×7 support in shifts

Selected Candidates will be required to go to USA for Knowledge Sharing.

• Good hands on database administration experience on SQL server.
• 24×7 Database support.
• Good Communication skills.
