Desired Profile  Experience:

- 6 – 8 years of experience in Java / J2ee
- Excellent understanding and working experience on OOAD and methodologies.
- Must be able to understand and express any design/ architecture aspect through UML and/or other representations.
- Hands-on experience with one of the modeling tools like Rational Rose, Select Through understanding of Design Patterns and experience in their usage.
- Thorough understanding of RDBMS principles, design and hands on experience on any of the DB systems like Oracle etc.
- Thorough understanding of Transactions and their management.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise level applications, their architecture, issues, and data flow etc.
- Working experience in Java technologies and frameworks like EJB, JSP, Servlets, JSF, Javascript, AJAX, Struts, Spring etc.
- Should have good working experience with one of the IDEs like WSAD, JBuilder, and Eclipse.
- Conversant with various tools like Junit, DBUnit, JWebUnit, CodePro, JProbe etc.,
- Exposure to ORM tools like Hibernate, Toplink, JPA, etc.
- Expert in at least one of BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere or JBOSS.
- Experienced in application interface / interoperability approaches like Web Services, JMS, MQ Series and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Should be able to address the non-functional aspects of the application like performance, scalability, reliability, availability, internationalization/ localization, etc.
- Should have a good understanding of the security aspects of the applications like authentication, authorization, public key infrastructure, SSL, certificates, etc.
- Must able to estimate a sizeable development effort
- Ability to negotiate scope with development team leads and clients.
- Knowledge on Agile Development processes like SCRUM etc.
- Experience or Understanding of HR or Payroll processing domains is a BIG Plus.
