Role:  Project Delivery

Job Summary
The Project Manager (PM) works within the Project Delivery domain and provides leadership and delivery management for one or more large, high profile projects. Projects may involve the introduction of completely new services, the transition of services from client (or other provider) into Accenture, or other complex programs of change. Project delivery skills and client relationship management are paramount, and experience in supporting operational environments across multiple locations is a valuable asset.

Key Objectives
• To strengthen project delivery capability within the team
• the evolution and consistent use of agreed “best practice” tools and processes
• active mentoring of more junior members of the Project Delivery team to guarantee appropriate levels of project / delivery focus and expertise
Key Requirements
• Consistently apply agreed Project Management Methodology – Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM) and Project Management processes.
• Engage resources via the standard PMO processes, and interface to respective delivery domains to co-ordinate work.
• Provide leadership to the project team to ensure production of deliverables as per agreed plan / SLA
• Demonstrate proactive Risk, Issue, Budget Run, Status Reporting and Change Management discipline, and assume clear ownership and accountability for project issues where required.
• Drive the Quality Assurance processes, including formal and ad hoc reviews of other projects within the Project Delivery domain.
• Provide input to key learning points and to drive continuous improvement activities.
• Deputize for the Project lead when required, and provide additional escalation and management support for all projects within the PD domain.
