WORKING EXPERIENCE

· Worked with Sify as a Network Engineer in PMG Group from 8th Feb 08 to Feb 09.
· OSI model, TCP/IP , Dialup communication,
· Routing , LAN/WAN technologies (Ethernet, LL, MLLN, ISDN BRI, PRI, E1R2, Adaptive Broadband.)

Achievements:
· Successfully completed the OICL project in Bihar within the timeframe.
· Successfully looking after all the Tech related issues of Iways & Gamedroms. (World Largest Cyber Cafe Chain), Corporates (Broadband, PSTN, LL & ISDN) & CTOs
· Developed LAN for Radio Station , Ranchi (Jharkhand )

Responsibilities & Snapshot of skills deployment:
· My profile includes managing network operation of SIFY at BIHAR Managing 99.9% uptime of the SIFY Network.
· Escalating the problem in proper channel in case of major link failure.
· This includes commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of all the leased line circuits (64Kbps, 128Kbps and 2Mbps).
· Monitoring & keeping a track on the performance of the backbone links, E1R2 Utilization, Gateway performance, bandwidth utilization.
· Liaising with BSNL in case of installation of new lease circuits & maintenances of existing one. Ensuring minimum downtime of the same in case of failure.
· Responsible for designing, Maintaining SIFY Core and Edge network
· Handling all broadband installation of Corporates,Iways & CTOs
· Handling Network Operations Center (NOC).
· Planning, Implementation of new sites w.r.t maximum area coverage.
· Responsible for the uptime of all Base Stations
· Working on connecting all Base Station via Fiber connectivity
· Motivate Engineers to further gear up to provide better service. To build up an informed and empowered work force
· Uptime of all the Backbone links, Access lines, ISP LAN, Network Components and POPS above 99.9 percent in the region.
· Configuration, Installation & Troubleshooting of Axxcelera, Proxim, Nexus, Radwin, Air Span etc Adaptive Broadband wireless devices.
