SharePoint Tech Specialist

Experience : 8-10 yrs Approx.
Location : Bangalore; May need to travel onsite when required (short trips)

Tech areas Architecture, Implementation experience in MOSS 2007 / SPS 2003 / WSS 3.0 Platform
Tech area :

o Should have significant experience in Building solutions on MOSS 2007 / WSS 3.0 Platform
o Configuring and Customizing SharePoint based implementations
o Provide Technical Leadership, Mentoring for SharePoint implementations
o Certifications an added plus

Should Have :

o Hands-on experience with architecture/design of at least 3 SharePoint based implementations
o Exposure to the challenges involved in development of Intranet, Extranet, Publishing Portal implementations on SharePoint platform
o Strong consulting capabilities and customer focused approach
Nice to have :
o Integration with Office suite of products like Office Communication Server 2007 (OCS 2007)
o Integration with analytics and reporting solutions
o Experience with Pre-Sales Skills (RFP, RFI, Whitepapers, Case Studies)
o Knowledge , Experience on SharePoint Portal 2003
Competencies

o Sound technical understanding of MOSS 2007 / WSS 3.0 Features and Concepts
o Good understanding of the OOTB templates, Web Parts available in MOSS 2007/ WSS 3.0 platform
o Experience with Hardware sizing, NFR and Global Deployment / Distributed Deployments / CDN’s
o Strong business communication and presentation skills
o Good consulting skills , ability to work with diverse set of stakeholders to generate consensus and drive solutions
o Good team player ability to collaborate with sales/delivery teams to deliver successfully to the client
