Job Description
Key responsibilities include overseeing the development, design, user interface, and technology integration direction, site architecture management, and managing a technology team from definition phase through implementation. A Manager, Technology owns the technical vision of the project; ensuring that the vision is achieved with a high level of quality. A Manager, Technology is expected to contribute to the Sales cycle as well. A Manager, Technology must have excellent written and oral communication skills, creativity and innovation, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment. In performing the essential functions of this role, the work environment is fast-paced, moderately noisy and team-based. Additionally, frequent overnight travel is required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics or related field preferred. Should have hands on experience in C#. Experience Guidelines:
  • Minimum of 8 – 12 years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and/or interactive design, and Architecture experience
  • Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multi-track Sapient teams
  • Understanding of the project life cycle process to effectively be able to manage a sub-team through the complexities of the business solution
  • Proven mentoring and coaching abilities to ensure effective growth plans of technology members of Sapient teams
  • Knowledge of multiple technologies including (but not limited to): HTML, DHTML, XML, Visual Basic, RDBMS, etc.
