Job Description  

*Provide technical support for the corbus networks and troubleshoot and resolve network related issues. 
*Assist with the evaluation, recommendation, and installation of equipment and configuration improvements related to the corbus production IP network environment. 
*Maintain drawings of corbus network topologies for reference. 
*Installation, Maintenance & Configuration of hardware, system and software applications.
*Document all configuration and installation procedures for reference and maintain backup procedures for network configurations. 
*Recommend routine procedures for operation and support as it may relate to IP network operation. 
*Interact with external vendors for technical support and warrantees
*Provide technical support to all users via helpdesk system
*Installs, enhances, and maintains computer network workstations, printers, and operating systems.
*Maintains inventory and maintenance records for computer hardware and software.
*Perform other work as directed.

Desired Profile  

*2-3 years of work experience in network support including Cisco router, Cisco firewall, Cisco Switches, MPLS, IPLC, ILL, VOIP and Avaya Exchange. 
*Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are desired. 
*Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking including cabling, switching, routing, firewall, VPN, VLAN concepts is required. 
*Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting TCP/ IP routing and switching environments is required. 
*Must be able to perform “hands on” work such as pulling cables, installing equipment, and related activities. 
*Familiarity with CISCO networking equipment and a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment is desired. 
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio) is highly desired. 
*Individual must be detail oriented, organized, efficient, and able to document new systems as well as maintain existing documentation. 
*Must be able to function well as a member of a team and be willing to adapt to changing requirements and responsibilities and must be able to function well in unsupervised situations. 
*Ability to work in 24×7 on rotation. 
*Good Communication and Inter – Personal Skills and Ability to handle pressure.
*Experience in Customer Interface, should be able to interact and build relationships with the customer.
