Desired Candidate Profile
Required Skills: -
• 5 + years of network troubleshooting experience and at least 5 years firewall administration and design experience
• At least one certification from Cisco, Checkpoint or Juniper (CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCSP, JNCIA, JNCIS, etc)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
• This person must have good time management skills to properly manage operations duties and other task that will assist in the optimization of the firewall team.
• Create standard procedural documentation
Desired Skills:-
Experience with Provider-1 is a plus
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches is a plus Cisco PIX 6.x or later is ideal
• Experience with Checkpoint version R55 or higher on Linux or Unix based platforms
• Check Point Security Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
• Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) or Equivalent Industry Proficiency is a plus
• Knowledge of Juniper Firewall/VPN products and ScreenOS software
- ITIL Experience and/or certification.
