  • Performed all standard system administration on Unix machines (users, groups, backup etc). 
  • Installing and Configuring ESM server to conform with company security Policy.
  • Create LVM structures based on requirement provided by application owner.
  • Increasing the file systems on the fly.
  • External storage are maintained through ESS (IBM 2105-F20 & SSA 7133-D40)
  • Performed storage migration between IBM 24265 to SVC storage. 
  • Management of Health checking issues and actions on all the applications.
  • Backing up & Restoring File System on a Regular Schedule.
  • Scheduling jobs through crontabs.
  • Installed and Maintained Software Packages & Patch’s.
  • Working and troubleshooting on day-to-day problems via opening and closing tickets.
  • Participating in change record meeting and approving changes.
