Job Description:
Work in a highly motivated and innovative team involved in the design and development of J2EE Distributed Enterprise Applications with a high quality standard using Agile development techniques.
Accountable for timely delivery of high quality technical deliverables from own team

Responsibilities

1. Ongoing support of business applications by problem analysis, resolution, reporting and escalation as required.

2. Reverse Engineering, Analysis, Coding, testing, debugging and providing relevant comments/documentation for the application managed.

3. Participating and sharing Functional/Technical knowledge with the rest of the team.

4. Participates in post-implementation reviews of both application development content and process to maximize and share learning.

5. Understand the requirements for new project initiatives, medium to high complexity enhancements, participate in design and complete the development and unit testing.

6. Participates in conference calls and able to communicate effectively

Experience

2-3 years of extensive experience in design and development of complex systems based on J2EE framework. Should have experience in implementing large systems following full SDLC.

Essential Skills

Expert knowledge in advanced technologies like EJB, JMS, Web Services, struts, MQ Series etc.

Good experience in implementing J2EE design patterns.

Good experience in OOAD, Class designs etc using UML modeling.

Very Strong analytical abilities.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Very high commitment levels and willing to work in any shift timings.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of any RDBMS (preferably SQL server) will be added advantage

Knowledge of any Application Server (preferably weblogic)

Experience of working in distributed development model.

Domain knowledge of life insurance will be an added advantage.

Exposure to various software development methodologies like agile, RUP etc.
